Being able to set aside our own assumptions and focus on understanding the needs of our users or customers is a core part of human-centred design. But all too often, this work takes the form of shallow empathy exercises which don't reveal any new insights, and don't help us to deliver more value for our users.

How can we go beyond the basics and make sure our empathy work is a practical and valuable part of the design process? In this free 90-minute SkillGym session, we’ll explore some tips for taking empathy deeper, and introduce you to some practical tools you can use to open up new ways of seeing a problem through the eyes of your customers.
