From the looming problems of climate change and growing inequality to more immediate crises in areas such as mental health, homelessness and race relations, the need for action to instigate positive change in our society is clear. By building your skillset as a designer and innovator, you can learn to better understand complex problems and to collaborate with others to make meaningful progress on issues that matter.

In this online course, over 5 modules you will explore the key skills, tools and mindsets required to make change that matters. Each modules features high quality videos, interactive activities for you to complete and quizzes to test your knowledge.

  • How to conduct rapid research for new social impact solutions
  • How systems thinking can be used to tackle complex problems

After the success and demand of this program, we developed this online course to make it available to anyone, regardless of time or geography.

The videos in the course feature our Head of Programs and Impact, Matt Norman. Matt is a designer and facilitator driven to make a positive social impact. He has over 7 years of experience running workshops in the corporate, government, non-profit and education worlds, as well as supporting the work of activists and community builders at a local level. A lifelong learner with a collection of degrees and a whole lot of training under his belt, Matt’s passion is creating systems and experiences that bring out the best in people.
